Thank you for your interest in joining the Bayou City Pups! Please see the attached links to review the governing documents of our organization. The next step of your process involves you attending the next monthly General Membership meeting. These are typically held every second Saturday of the month from 8 PM – 9PM at the Montrose Center. If you chose to apply for FULL MEMBERSHIP, please pay attention to the new membership rules and requirements listed under the section of our Policies and Procedures (PNPs) labeled “Pledge”. If you have chosen to apply for ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP, please see the section in our PNPs labeled “Associate Member”.
In both cases, your membership is not confirmed until you appear before the organization’s membership, state your reasons and intentions for joining, and receive a favorable vote of the meeting’s quorum. Upon a favorable vote, Associates will be invoiced typically within one - two weeks. Dues for those participating in the pledge process will be deferred until you have been fully instated as a full member.
