A Florida Native, Pup Kota was part of the Tampa Bay Puppy Pack. He relocated from Tampa, FL to Houston, TX in 2018. He has held other leadership roles both professionally and academically. Kota was previously President of the Bayou City Pups (2019/2020). He believes in “community” and inclusion for all.

Kota is the Pup of Montrose 2019/2020/2021 (aka The reign that never ends).

When Kota is not menacing the neighborhood, you can usually find him eating his way through Houston, checking out all the kibbles the city has to offer. On his downtime, this husky is usually being lazy, cuddled up in bed.

When asked what question he’d ask other pups, Kota said “Squeaky or Bouncy – What do you look for in a toy?”

I’m Pup Noah! I am from Houston, born and raised. I’ve been living the pup life for 4 wonderful years. This year, I am privileged to be a board member of the BCP, helping to build and strengthen the pup community here in Houston. I’m part of an amazing Pack of four other pups who I love deeply, but my heart also belongs to the broader Houston Pup Community. I believe in knowing no strangers—everyone deserves to feel welcomed and cared for.

At events, I’m always ready to pitch in, whether it’s buying water for a thirsty pup or making sure no one gets left behind. If you're wearing a hood or identifying as a pet (or any other way that makes you feel like you belong), I’ve got your back, no questions asked. To me, every pup is family, and I fight to make sure that all of us are taken care of.

So let’s get out there and have some fun together! ARRRUFFF!

Pup Chance has been in the pup community for the past two years, starting their journey with the National Leather Association (NLA) - Houston. They are an avid lover and practicing witch, with a library of knowledge on wild critters.

Pup Chance was runner-up for Pup of Woofstock 2023 and South Central Pet 2024 contests.

Pup Chance can often be found wondering the Montrose area looking for fun things to do! Feel free to approach them and say hi!!

Pup Taz is originally from Flint, Michigan. He wiggled his way through three other states before calling Houston home. He has been a pup for just over a year.

Pup Taz says he loves the freedom and ability to live in the moment as a pup. “ I am very proud to be a part of the Bayou City Pups, as they took me in and welcomed me with open paws as part of the community.”

Since Jeremé was first introduced to the world of pup play and the Bayou City Pups, he found them to be the most inclusive and accepting groups in the LGBTQ+ community.

He wants to be a part of that and help the BCP grow within the community and help others in the many ways it has helped him over the past two years.

Jeremé is exploring his pup side and encourages others to freely do the same.
